The Pakistan military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Indian forces had killed three Pakistani soldiers in an act of unprovoked firing on Monday evening, Dawn reported. The firing happened at the Rukh Chakri sector in Rawalakot, which is part of Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK). The Indian military has denied the allegations, saying that the “soldiers probably died in a cross-fire”. The incident took place the same day that Pakistan had allowed former Indian Naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav to meet his wife and mother in Islamabad. On Sunday, the Pakistani forces had allegedly resorted to heavy firing from across the border along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, the Indian Army had said. The incident came a day after four Army personnel were killed.
